WELCOME

"Contrary to what we may have been taught to think, unnecessary and unchosen suffering wounds us, but need not scar us for life. It does mark us. What we allow the mark of our suffering to become is in our own hands."

ABOUT ME

she/her/hers

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Raleigh, NC. I provide individual psychotherapy to young adults and adults. I'm a trauma-informed therapist who uses somatic and anti-oppressive practices. Please check out my Approach page to learn more.

I specialize in supporting folks of all genders and sexual orientations heal from eating disorders and disordered eating, trauma, attachment and relationship challenges, systemic trauma, childhood emotional neglect, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, and low self-esteem.

In addition to working as an outpatient therapist, I have clinical experience in residential care, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and crisis non-profit.

I chose to pursue social work because I value the importance of critically examining and challenging the larger systems that impact our well-being and how we move through life. Sociocultural factors, privilege, oppression, history, identity, and culture all have a profound impact on shaping one's individual experience, and sense of safety and belonging in the world. I center this knowledge in all of my interactions both inside and outside of my clinical practice.

It is an absolute joy and honor to witness and support clients in building more loving and full-hearted relationships with themselves and others. I feel so privileged to learn, grow, and heal alongside my clients throughout our work together.
